University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan is selling 2026/2027 forms for two post-basic schools: the Perioperative Nursing School (one year, residential and full-time) and the School of Occupational Health Nursing (full-time). Both cost ₦25,000, paid by Remita on portal.uch-ibadan.org.ng, plus a ₦200 payment to the Oyo State Nursing and Midwifery Committee account named on the notice. You must be a registered nurse with a current NMCN practising licence and hold five O-level credits (English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics) in not more than two sittings. Perioperative additionally requires at least one year's post-qualification experience and written approval of a year's release from your employer. No closing date is printed on either notice.

⚠ Admission scams are common. Paying anyone to "secure" admission is illegal — no genuine school sells admission through agents, WhatsApp contacts or unofficial Facebook pages. The ₦25,000 is paid only through the Remita button on portal.uch-ibadan.org.ng into the UCH account the notice names. Do not pay any individual. If someone asks for money outside the official portal, walk away and report it.

Pay first (the Remita button on the portal), then sign up with the RRR, email and password used for payment, log in, complete the application from the Applicant User Guide, and print two copies of the form and photocard to bring on examination day (perioperative) or for authentication at the school (occupational health).

Selection is by written examination and oral interview for occupational health and a CBT for perioperative; neither school has announced dates or venues yet. The portal also states that applications into the School of Anaesthesia and School of Midwifery are closed for this session.
